Grafana Adds Free Prometheus Monitoring Tier

In December 2020, Grafana Labs became the first open source provider to enter a joint development and go to market deal with Amazon Web Services (AWS). But the company is still moving ahead with its own cloud offering as well.

Grafna Labs announced it had added a free tier to its Prometheus monitoring cloud service that allows IT companies to monitor a fleet of Kubernetes clusters easily.

The company is also offering an enterprise version for customers to implement on their own. The Grafana Cloud is used for tracking, collecting, and analyzing alerts on Prometheus and Loki logs. The new Pro and free tiers are out in the market now.
