Google’s New ‘Accelerate State of DevOps’ Report Shows Increase in Public Cloud Usage-01

Google has released the findings of its Accelerate State of DevOps report, which found that respondents that used hybrid or multi-cloud were 1.6 times more likely to exceed their company’s performance goals.

In the survey, elite performers deploy 973 times more frequently than low performers, have a 3 times lower change failure rate, a 6,570 times faster lead time to deploy, and a 6,570 times faster time-to-recover from issues when they do occur.

Over the past few years, Google has questioned over 32,000 professionals worldwide for the report, which has taken seven years to complete.
