Google’s Starlight light field display prototypes for immersive video conferences will soon be seen in the offices of other businesses.
Project Starline was introduced by Google at the IO conference last year, but its prototypes have only been tested by employees and a small number of industry partners inside Google US offices for video conferences between two people in different places using the same setup. Therefore, it’s top-tier video conferencing technology for offices.
With its enterprise partners, Google has now expanded an early access program because it believes it to be the future of virtual meetings for hybrid work. The companies Salesforce, WeWork, T-Mobile, and Hackensack Meridian Health will receive Starline prototypes.
