Google Unveils the Coral Dev Board Mini and an Accelerator Module

Coral Dev Board Mini

Google has introduced its new Coral Dev Board Mini and one small Accelerator module,  expanding its Coral line-up for 2020 with the newly introduced products. It offers developers with a board that looks like Raspberry Pi, along with an ML accelerator module measuring 10mm by 15mm. The products join the existing Coral hardware on the edge-network devices.

Of all the Coral products by Google, Google Edge TPU ASIC is at the core of processing data on Board. The Coral Dev Board, worth $149, can be attached to sensors like cameras, to allow developers to track hand motion, identify objects, and face detection. It doesn’t require data to be transmitted to the cloud.
