The partnership will focus on developing products suitable for Europe’s strict data security and privacy requirements and the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The service will be based on the Google Cloud team’s multi-cloud management platform, Anthos. It is designed to help enterprises containerize their applications so that they can run competing public cloud environments in on-premise locations with minimal modifications.
OVHcloud will use Anthos to create a hosted private cloud offering that will run within its data center infrastructure. It will be operated and managed in Europe by the OVHcloud team.
