Google has rolled out a BeyondCorp Remote Access that will allow remote access of internal systems without using a virtual private network (VPN). It is a cloud-based security service that lets employees access internal web apps from most devices and from any location, without a traditional remote-access VPN. Google uses a “zero-trust approach,” which requires some kind of additional authentication before granting access to an external source.

Google plans to make available a “full-stack offering” with additional capabilities and protection for more applications and resources.
