In order to allow users to create and use passkeys to log into Android devices, Google has announced that it is bringing passkeys to Chrome and Android.

The announcement follows the pledge made in March of this year by Apple, Google, and Microsoft to increase support for the password less sign-in standard developed by the FIDO Alliance and the World Wide Web Consortium.
