Google Cloud (GCP) has proclaimed a partnership with Nasuni to resell and integrate its new hybrid cloud file storage with Google Cloud object storage. Nasuni is a broader group of providers that are sending classic network-attached file storage (NAS) to the cloud.
For GCP, Nasuni becomes a SaaS partner that fills the space in its offerings, from Google Drive that services customers and small businesses on one end to Google Filestore, set up for high-performance scenarios as hosting an SAP application. Nasuni fills the middle ground, giving shared global file storage for sharing Microsoft Office and other Windows files.
