Google Cloud introduces new retail AI tools

Google Cloud has announced the launch of four new artificial intelligence technologies for retailers, just ahead of the National Retail Federation’s 2023 annual conference.

According to Google, the new technologies are intended to assist retailers in modernizing in-store shelf checking procedures and enhancing e-commerce operations, resulting in more fluid and organic online shopping experiences. They include a brand-new “self-checking AI solution” based on Vertex AI that makes use of the vast databases of Google to assist retailers in recognizing “billions of products.”
