GoodData has debuted a data-as-a-service application this week that uses Docker containers and micro services operating on Kubernetes clusters to dynamically scale analytics on requests.
The GoodData.CloudNative (GoodData.CN) ecosystem ushers in a modern cloud-native age that makes analytics easy to integrate in apps. A well-defined collection of application programming interfaces (APIs) is crucial, according to Roman Stanek, CEO of GoodData.
GoodData.CN will be available in Freemium, Growth, and Enterprise versions, with added features and GoodData support. It will be initially available for free via a community version of the software that comes in the form of a single Docker container picture.
