Goldman Sachs has recently announced that it has partnered with Marqeta, the FinTech firms in order to build the US bank’s Marcus checking accounts – which are all set to launch this year.
Marqeta noted Goldman Sachs plans to leverage its card-issuing platform to launch digital checking accounts for Marcus customers. Both the companies hope that this strategic collaboration will allow creating personalized, feature-rich digital banking solutions for their consumers.
Basically, this technology will enable to issue of debit cards that are linked to the bank account. It will expand the Marcus consumer portfolio for digital-first banking that could yield innovative FinTech solutions.
