Gitlab Broadens Its DevOps Platform with New Observability Tools

GitLab, open-source DevOps platform, has released version 15 of its software. GitLab is essentially releasing its roadmap for the complete GitLab 15 release cycle here, with all of the new features trickling out over the next year or two, as is customary.

According to the business, observability, security, enterprise planning, and process automation will be the priorities. GitLab aims to introduce one of the first new features based on its acquisition of Opstrace in December. GitLab is implementing new software supply chain security features this cycle on the security front.

Additional features in GitLab’s planning tools have been included in this release to provide teams more flexibility. GitLab 15 will also have the ability to choose code reviewers and following workflow steps automatically.
