GitHub Copilot, a service that recommends lines of code, is now accessible in a plan for businesses, months after it was first made available to individual users and teachers.
The brand-new, USD 19 per user per month GitHub Copilot for Business plan includes all the features of the single-license Copilot tier as well as corporate licensing and policy controls. This includes a toggle that enables IT administrators to stop developers from seeing suggested code that matches publicly available code on GitHub, probably in response to the intellectual property disputes brewing around Copilot.

Copilot is an extension for development environments like Microsoft Visual Studio, Neovim, and JetBrains that can be downloaded. Codex is the AI model that Copilot is based on.
