G Suite launches new features and name

G Suite users will no longer be given free unlimited cloud storage. The platform has announced the rebranding of its name to Google Workspace. Previously Google’s G Suite enterprise tools have offered users free cloud storage for those working in companies that have subscribed to the subscriptions. As per the new feature, users will be allocated a fixed volume of space on Google Cloud. It will reduce the upload of unnecessary or old items on to the cloud servers.

Google conventionally offered the G Suite services under the two tiers: G Suite Basic and Business. The tiers will be divided into the new Workspace platform as Business Starter, Business Standard, and new Business Plus plan.
