According to a recent report, the US Federal Trade Commission will probably try to stop Microsoft Corp.’s planned acquisition of Activision Blizzard Inc. for USD 68.7 billion.
The FTC might sue to stop the deal as early as next month. The sources did warn that there is no guarantee that the agency will proceed with the change. The report comes as the organization is allegedly looking into Microsoft’s proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard.

FTC officials are reportedly questioning Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and his Activision Blizzard counterpart Bobby Kotick as part of the investigation. The FTC is reportedly skeptical of Microsoft’s justifications for the acquisition.
