Fleek, a Web3 developer platform, has announced it has raised USD 25 million in new funding led by Polychain Capital to construct a decentralized content delivery and hosting network for Web3 developers.
Protocol Labs, Arweave, Coinbase Ventures, Digital Currency Group, North Island Ventures, Distributed Global, The LAO, and Argonautic Ventures were among the additional investors in the Series A round. Fleek, which was established in 2018, is a developer platform for Web3 protocols, also referred to as the decentralized web, and Blockchain-based decentralized applications.
The current platform was developed to primarily deliver its content from corporate-controlled Web 2.0 content networks like Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare.
