Firebolt and Varada announce cloud analytics platform

Israeli analytics engine enterprises- Firebolt and Varada have announced new launches on consecutive days. The data platform unveiled by Varada follows a beta period of a specified length. Firebolt has announced the launch of its cloud data warehouse-as-a-service. Both the organizations have announced platforms that focus on similar workloads and are deployed exclusively on Amazon Web Services.

The main difference between these two platforms lies in their mode of approach. Varada works by combining caching and ML-based optimization for the acceleration of performance. Firebolt implements vector processing, CPU cache, columnar storage, vector processing, etc. Both the enterprises have created data lakes as launch pads for rapid analytics.
