Facebook has rebranded the company logo to distinguish itself from the app. The social network wants to make sure more people know that it owns Instagram, WhatsApp, and Oculus. Facebook said it would start using the new corporate identity within its products and marketing materials. In the new logo, the word FACEBOOK is capitalized. The company said the new logo was designed by keeping in mind clarity and the need to create a visual distinction between the company and the app.
Earlier in June, the social network started including “from Facebook” within its apps that include Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
