European VC Balderton launches $400 million start-up fund

Europe-based tech investor Balderton Capital has announced the launch of a $400 million start-up fund that will focus on investing in technology start-ups. Following the announcement of the start-up fund, the venture capital has bought its total funds under management to $3 billion.

Bernaud Liautaud, a managing partner at Balderton, told Reuters that Europe has the potential to build the next generation of technology giants.
