Robotics firm Elementary Robotics has raised $12.7 million in Series A round. The latest round of the funding was led by Threshold Ventures. Elementary Robotics plans to use the newly raised capital to develop and deploy automation products at scale. The company said it is focusing on automating visual tasks in manufacturing and logistics industries that perform several inspection and quality checks. As a result of the funding, Threshold Ventures partner, Mo Islam, has joined Elementary Robotics board of directors.
