Amazon Web Services has announced the general availability of Amazon EKS Anywhere, an Amazon EKS deployment option that allows users to host container services both on-premises and in the cloud.
Amazon EKS is an installable software package for building and operating Kubernetes clusters on-premises, as well as automation tooling for cluster lifecycle support, which was first announced at last year’s AWS re: Invent conference. It’s intended for customers who have containers that need to run on-premises but want the same management features as in the cloud.
Users may utilize the EKS dashboard to examine all of their Kubernetes clusters running anywhere using EKS Anywhere.
