eBay Appoints Walmart Executive Jamie Iannone as CEO

eBay Inc has announced the appointment of Jamie Iannone as the new chief executive officer (CEO). Iannone is a former Walmart executive who will begin his term as CEO on April 27. He was the chief operating officer of Walmart eCommerce. Before this, Iannone had leadership roles at eBay from 2001 to 2009, where he played an instrumental role in Walmart’s digital strategy.

Iannone will succeed Devin Wenig, who resigned eBay in September following pressure from two investors.
