Dropbox has signed an agreement to acquire makers of a document sharing and analytics platform DocSend, for $165 million.
With its 2019 acquisition of HelloSign, and now DocSend, Dropbox is attempting to build out its suite of products for managing document workflows – a crucial component of the company’s shift toward serving the enterprise and its growth strategy.
DocSend enables businesses to send documents through a secure link sent via email instead of an attachment. The platform also provides analytics on engagement, allowing users to track views and time spent on every document.
