A USD 44 million fundraising round has been completed by Docquity Holdings Pte Ltd., a firm that makes it simpler for healthcare practitioners to share knowledge with others. The Series C round has been disclosed by Docquity.
A consortium of investors led by Tokyo-based Itochu Corp., which contributed USD 32 million to the round, provided the startup with the money. The business intends to make its platform accessible in additional markets around North Asia and the Middle East using the USD 44 million in funding it recently closed. A portion of the funds will also be used by Docquity to fund expansion plans in the markets where it already has a presence. The creation of a virtual clinic product called Docquity Clinic will receive funding from Docquity.
Additionally, it is developing a brand-new educational program called Docquity Academy. As part of the program, it will collaborate with academic institutions and experienced doctors to offer learning materials to healthcare workers.
