The latest report from Global Data Centers says nearly 30% of IT teams’ time is wasted for
preparing the initial work of digital transformation projects. This is costing UK enterprises an average of £2 million per year. Digital transformation projects are witnessing delays owing to the ‘hesitancy gap’ mainly because organizations are not able to navigate the risks and complexity associated of turning the idea into a reality.
Sixty-three percent of enterprises surveyed said they are investing in Artificial Intelligence (AI) while 58% are investing in the Internet of Things (IoT). More than half of UK organizations admit their projects are regularly delayed due to several barriers or existing pressure on IT.
