Dig Unveils Cloud Data Detection and Response Platform

Dig, a cloud data security company has raised USD 11 million in seed funding for a new Data Detection and Response (DDR) service. 

The new DRR solution, according to Dig, finds data assets stored in cloud environments such as platform-as-a-service (PaaS), infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), and database-as-a-service (DBaaS) and delivers real-time protection and response capabilities for those assets. With agentless cloud monitoring of data assets housed in the cloud, Dig promises to address the absence of security solutions. 

The company believes that its DRR solutions have the ability to provide greater transparency over data assets housed in the cloud that have hitherto been unprotected by traditional security methods.
