Diagrid Releases Its Fully Managed Dapr Service for Kubernetes

By ET Bureau - October 19, 2022 1 Mins Read

According to a statement from Diagrid, the business is emerging from stealth mode and announcing a total funding round of USD 24.2 million.

The Dapr and Kubernetes Event-Driven Autoscaling (KEDA) project founders, Mark Fussell and Yaron Schneider, also co-founded it. The two have quietly raised a USD 20 million Series A round led by Norwest after raising a USD 4.2 million seed round from Amplify. Microsoft introduced Dapr, an open source project, in 2019 with the goal of facilitating the development of micro services on top of Kubernetes.

Users of Diagrid pay per Kubernetes cluster. Currently, the onboarding process is still somewhat manual, but the business intends to introduce a self-service tool the following year.
