Dell Technologies is extending support for Dell EMC CloudIQ, a cloud application that serves as the first step toward self-contained infrastructure.
The initiative is part of a larger attempt to develop self-contained operations, which began with CloudIQ, which includes AIOps capabilities for managing issues before they become serious. Dell Technologies announced the Apex portfolio as a service endeavor and detailed objectives for 2020. Dell, like Cisco and HPE, sees recurring revenue, finance, and as-a-service solutions as key to its future success. The measure is expected to hasten data center and infrastructure automation.
Dell Technologies will introduce Dell EMC CloudIQ during a Mark Hamill-hosted Autonomous Operations event.
