Dell Technologies has said that it had finalized a plan to restart VMware through tax-free distribution of shares to Dell investors
Dell began announcing in mid-April that it would release a large portion of 81% to the larger VMware. Dell last month declared October 29 as the day of separation.
The two companies said at the time of the announcement in April that Dell plans to maintain the beneficial relationship that currently exists between the two post-sponsorships, which include product integration development, marketing and marketing alignment.
