With the launch of Apex Cyber Recovery, Dell Technologies is boosting its portfolio to go beyond infrastructure and focus on workload-based solutions.
Through common setups and recovery choices, the service aims to make the deployment of cyber recovery solutions easier. Apex Cyber Recovery is now only offered in the United States, with hopes to expand later this year. With the release of PowerProtect Cyber Recovery for Microsoft Azure on the Azure Marketplace, the IT giant is also expanding its reach in the multi-cloud environment.
Dell claims that it will enable businesses to set up an isolated cyber vault in the public cloud, from which they can recover to their primary corporate data centre, an Azure private network, or a clean Azure environment if necessary.
