DataStax launches a new API layer Stargate

The open-source database Cassandra did not have a flexible API as a key to developer friendliness and database accessibility. DataStax, a vendor for the development and commercialization of Cassandra, has attempted to resolve the issues. They initially brought the database to the cloud and launched the Astra cloud. It offered Cassandra as a managed service.

Cassandra was also bought to the Kubernetes world by DataStax at the same time. The organization was aware they needed to make the process easier for developers who were building the latest applications that were compatible with Cassandra.
