Databricks announced it had completed its acquisition of MosaicML. The companies aim to make generative AI accessible to all organizations. It will enable them to build, own, and secure generative AI models like LLMs with their proprietary data.
MosaicML’s product, which helps build and deploy large AI models, will remain available for direct purchase. The companies plan to make seamless training custom models for Databricks Lakehouse customers.
The MosaicML’s technology with Databricks Lakehouse Platform offers customers a state-of-the-art generative AI training platform. It will also allow them to retain control, security, and ownership over their data.
Naveen Rao, MosaicML’s Co-Founder, and CEO, says their partnership with Databricks will empower enterprise customers to build LLMs and generative AI securely and cost-effectively.
