Couchbase Inc., the maker of NoSQL database of the same name, allegedly has filed confidential administration for an initial public offering (IPO) that could value it at about $3 billion.
Couchbase’s namesake database is usually utilized by nearly a third of the Fortune 100 to control various business applications. The database can collect unstructured data, including text, relational records, and semi structured information like sensor measurements. Furthermore, even though Couchbase competes in a part of the market called the NoSQL segment, it enables users to use SQL commands to manipulate data.
