
A report by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) and the Business Council of Australia (BCA) has found that Commercialisation is the engine that Australian businesses need to drive future resilience and speed up a technology-led recovery from COVID-19.
Unlocking new creative power for Australian companies, identifying some of the current marketing barriers include low levels of trade in various sectors, lack of a complete innovation strategy, cultural misunderstandings, and diversity of talent and skills.
The report said a number of BCA members interviewed described the Australian research and translation environment as “partial, inconsistent, and inadequate”.
