Crowdbotics has said that it has raised USD 40 million for its “ideas-to-code” managed app development platform. Jackson Square Ventures, Homebrew, Bee Partners, and Harrison Metal, who had previously invested, joined new investors New Enterprise Associates to lead the Series B funding round.
The company previously raised USD 22 million in funding in January 2022, which was followed by the new round. A low-code/no-code development platform, like Crowdbotics, allows users to drag and drop components together to design an app’s flow before having it created and made available.
Instead, the business asks users to specify the app’s requirements before looking for components and providing fully developed code. The customer’s software development team can then take that code and modify it to suit their needs, or it can be used right away as an app.
