COVID-19 Pandemic Saw a Surge in Hybrid Cloud and low-code approaches

As per new research from KPMG and HFS Research, low-code adoption has witnessed a surge in technology investment planning, as is robotic process automation. The survey based on responses of 900 tech executives measured changes in technology investment planning between March and June of this year.

The survey revealed that 56% of respondents believe that cloud migration has become an absolute necessity. Moreover, interest in developing greater low-code capabilities has increased since the beginning of the pandemic from 10% to 26%.

Many companies are planning to adopt the architectural cloud approach in the future to reduce the risk of service disruption and extend the corporate network and functional workloads.
