CoreWeave Inc., a startup in the cloud infrastructure market, announced today that it has acquired rendering software company Conductor Technologies Inc. CoreWeave, based in Roseland, New Jersey, has more than USD 155 million in funding.
The startup runs a cloud computing platform designed to host programs that heavily rely on graphics processing units. Companies can use its platform to run GPU-intensive workloads like AI models, rendering software, and other. For movie studios, Conductor offers a rendering application. Studios can use the application to render intricate visual effects on public cloud infrastructure.
The business claims that its software can increase graphic design teams’ productivity while reducing task costs by up to 50%.
