Copado, a developer operations (DevOps) platform built for several clouds such as Salesforce and Heroku, has raised $140 million in a Series C round of funding, valuing the company at $1.2 billion.
While SaaS platforms like Salesforce assist end-users with many DevOps processes like hosting and managing infrastructure, DevOps teams must still manage their deployment pipeline and all the stages and environments they must pass through to get their Salesforce configuration and code into production.
Founded in 2013, Copado has spent the majority of its eight-year history focusing on the Salesforce ecosystem, providing businesses with an integrated platform that covers a wide range of DevOps processes.
