CodeSee, based in San Francisco, allows developers to merge their GitHub repositories and generate “maps” to view a whole codebase, better comprehend how everything works together, and see how a suggested change will affect the larger codebase.
Labels and notes can be added to a CodeSee map by users, and they will remain even as developers come and go and files and folders change. A “tours” feature allows for visual walkthroughs of code. Furthermore, when each pull request is merged, these maps are immediately updated, and they are language-agnostic, with support for dependencies in Java, JavaScript, Go, and Python.
