Talkdesk, a firm that offers cloud-based contact center software for enterprises, has announced that is has secured Series C funding worth $143 million. The latest round of funding has taken the company’s valuation to more than $3 billion. The newly raised capital will be used to capitalize on its current operations and continue global expansion.
It also plans to boost research and development spending and focus on sales, marketing, and channel development. The funding round was led by a mix of old and new investors.
Talkdesk offers additional tools and services like virtual customer service agents and analytics. The firm claims IBM, Dropbox, and Peloton as their clients.
