Citrix announces its decision to acquire SaaS project management platform Wrike from Vista Equity Partners for $2.25 billion. Vista had bought Wrike just two years ago.
Citrix, best known for its digital workspaces, considers this a good match, especially due to the pandemic that has forced employees to work remotely.
David Henshall, CEO and President, Citrix, says, “Together, Citrix and Wrike will deliver the solutions needed to power a cloud-delivered digital workspace experience that enables teams to securely access the resources and tools they need to collaborate and get work done in the most efficient and effective way possible across any channel, device or location.”
