Cisco has appointed Ricardo Mucci as the new country manager for its Brazilian division. Mucci takes over for Laércio Albuquerque, who was promoted to a regional role lately as part of a drive to accelerate the adoption and evolution of the company’s networking systems in the region in the context of digital transformation.
Mucci, who was previously the leader of Cisco’s enterprise business in Brazil, joined the company in 2017 as the firm’s public sector business director. The new CEO was involved in several projects with Brazilian city governments aimed at ensuring the continuity of critical activities in areas such as health, education, and the judiciary through the use of the company’s technologies.
