Cisco Announces The Launch Of Cisco Plus

By ET Bureau - March 31, 2021 1 mins read

Cisco launches Cisco Plus in a bid to expand its as-a-service efforts and aims to bring flexible consumption models to customers. As per the brand, Cisco Plus will offer as-a-service models for its networking, compute, and storage hardware. When integrated with Cisco’s expanding software portfolio, the majority of the company’s products will eventually be as-a-service.

As per Kip Compton, Senior Vice President – Operations and Strategy at Cisco, Cisco Plus is an option for customers that are expanding Cisco purchases for hybrid cloud and data center implementations.

Cisco will also be launching a limited release of its network-as-a-service later in 2021 with a bundle that unifies security, networking, and visibility across access, cloud, and WAN.
