Cisco Announces the Cisco UCS X-Series_ a Set of Tools for Multi-Cloud and Hybrid Cloud Deployments

The Cisco UCS X-Series is a new modular system built for hybrid cloud deployments, as well as observability throughout the stack and network intelligence. The UCS X-Series was introduced at Cisco’s Future Cloud event, which also featured a slew of product debuts.

Cisco joins an increasingly crowded sector in the hybrid cloud market with its UCS redesign. Dell Technologies, HPE, and IBM, which recently acquired Red Hat, are all investing in infrastructure that connects data centers, clouds, and edge computing.

Cisco’s enterprise networking and cloud unit general manager, Todd Nightingale, stated that the company is focusing on offering observability across the corporate stack.
