Cisco announces its acquisition of enterprise software startup Dashbase for its logs and events analytics technology. The company said Dashbase would bolster the observability capabilities in AppDynamics – the application performance business it acquired previously for $3.7 billion. The financial terms of the Dashbase deal are yet to be disclosed.
Dashbase is also a player in the real-time communications space, helping enterprises stitch together log data from various communication environments.
Cisco said by integrating logs and events analytics technology of Dashbase into the AppDynamics platform, it will be able to help its customers quickly access data “across technology, user and business domains.”
