Chrome 85 launched with new features

Google announced the launch of Chrome 85 compatible with Android, iOS, Mac, Linux, and Windows. The latest features include PDF improvements, faster page loads, new developer functionalities, and tab management updates. Users can download the newest version by using the in-built updater or from the site.

Developers using Chrome have to stay on top of the regular updates and keep an eye on the latest additions and removals. In the newest version, Chrome 85 removed AppCache support by default. The tab management feature was launched initially by Chrome in May. Now users can expand and collapse the tab groups as per requirement. For tablet users, Chrome may launch a touch screen interface soon.
