China Aims to Rectify the Mobile Web Browsers

The cyber authority of China has recently said that it would carry out a rectification process for the Chinese mobile internet browsers. This will help in addressing the existing social concerns over the confusing information flooded on the internet.

Many mobile browsers have matured in an uncivilized way. Thus, the country’s internet censorship regulations have been tightened in the recent years. In its most recent crackdown, the Cyberspace Administration of China has asked companies (mobile browsers) to conduct a self-assessment and rectify problems by November 9, 2020.
