Celona Raises USD 60 Million to Accelerate Enterprise 5G Big Wave-01

Celona.io, a two-year-old enterprise 5G networking vendor, has raised USD 60 million in a Series C round of venture capital, bringing its total funding to USD 100 million.

DigitalBridge Ventures, the venture capital arm of DigitalBridge Group, a Boca Raton, Florida-based real estate investment trust, led the round of funding. 

Returning investors Lightspeed Venture Partners, NTTVC, Norwest Venture Partners Qualcomm Ventures, and Cervin Ventures have joined DigitalBridge. According to Celona CEO Rajeev Shah, there is a “shift left” as big players in the retail and automotive industries add enterprise 5G for deployments of robots, among other things.
