According to a report by Reuters, Broadcom’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Hock Tan on Friday announced that he would try to convince EU antitrust enforcers that his proposed USD 61 billion bid for cloud computing company VMware which has set off scrutiny concerns on both sides of the Atlantic, is pro-competitive.
On early Friday morning, Tan, along with his executives and lawyers, landed in Brussels for a closed hearing on one of the biggest partnerships in the history of the technology industry.
