BMC, an enterprise software business, recently announced plans to acquire StreamWeaver, a software company that specializes in AIOps and cloud migration. The deal’s financial specifics were not disclosed.

The acquisition of StreamWeaver, according to BMC, enhances their AIOps capabilities by providing a “wide set of out-of-the-box data connectors built on a complementing, modern micro-services-based architecture.”

StreamWeaver’s products, according to BMC, help companies enhance incident and risk predictions, automate remediation, and provide more support for DevOps and ServiceOps.

Both firms, according to BMC chief product officer Ali Siddiqui, can help organizations employ AI to more efficiently leverage their data and unearth insights to make key choices more rapidly.
